Everett L. Baldwin

Everett L. Baldwin, 65, of Bois D’Arc, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 22,
2020 in his home after a brief battle with leukemia. He was born on Feb. 23,
1955 to Everett and Ethel (Lafferty) Baldwin. His father passed away before
Baldwin was born. On Feb. 3, 1978 Everett and Dorothea (Goddard) were
united in marriage and shared 42 years together.
Baldwin was a lifelong area resident, except for the time he was away
faithfully serving in the United States Army. He enjoyed collecting stamps,
coins, comic books, and comic cards.
Baldwin is survived by his wife, Dorothea Baldwin; children, Johnathan
Baldwin and wife Ida, Jason Baldwin and partner Cody Jiles, Jamie Crayton
and husband Eric; honorary son, Scott Locke; eight grandchildren, siblings
Mike Johnson, Randall Johnson, Doug Johnson, Connie Epperson, Pam
Mayhew; step father, Bob Johnson; best friends, Pat Smith, David Goddard;
nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Baldwin is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Johnson;
granddaughter, Faith Baldwin; nephew, Greg Johnson.
Visitation was from 5-7p.m., Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral
Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020
at the funeral home with burial following at Rose Hill Cemetery, Willard.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Nancy Good
Community Center at Eden Village and may be left at the funeral home.
