Ash Grove honors Memorial Day with flags galore
From the front of the Ash Grove office of realtor Ronessa Williams hangs a large U.S. flag. The Main Street attraction is one of many flag displays in the patriotic township. More than a dozen U.S. flags were placed on power poles down Walker Street in Ash Grove, an effort led by Walker Street resident Mike Davis. The triangle intersection of East Main Street and East Walker Street was adorned with more than 100 small flags, 30 of which were sold by the city in memory of a specific veteran.
