Jaime Lynn Mauldin, Greenfield, May 20, 2016
Jaime Lynn Mauldin passed into heaven on Friday, May 20, 2016 in a single pickup truck accident in Adair County, Iowa. We lost a precious mother who adored her children, Rylee Joe Finch, 12; Bobbie Lynn Finch, 11; and Faith Raenn Finch, 8. She was like a rock to her special friend, Fletcher Nichols. She will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to know and appreciate her zeal for living and hard work.
Jamie especially enjoyed “fixing” stuff. She enjoyed working on vehicles. The day before she passed away she got new brake pads for Phyllis Nichols’ car and planned to install them. Dave and Phyllis had an ornate grandfathers clock that had stood still and silent for over 20 years… She fixed it in one afternoon.
She loved cattle and helped Fletcher care for them. Her primary purpose in life was for her daughters to excel in school. Their grades were near perfect and their teachers, bus drivers and librarians love them.
Her husband, Bobby Finch, preceded her in death when Faith was only 10 months old. She is survived by her late husband’s father, Robert Finch and his wife Marilyn, his mother, Sissy Finch Harbour, his sister, Ashley Cosby, and his grandmother, Betty Mauldin. She also is survived by her brother Jason Rinehart, her father Kenneth Rinehart, and his wife Kathy.
Celebration of life services were June 1 at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield. The Rev. Edythe Nichols Hill officiated the service. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.
Memorials may be directed to the Greenfield Public Library.
