Janet Marie Keithley

Janet Marie Keithley, Clever, passed away surrounded by her loving family at the age of 67 years. She was born Jan. 10, 1953 in Laclede County to Jess E and Florence (Davis) Shelby. She was the third child in a home of eight children and the oldest daughter. She was blessed with three children: Shayla, Tammy and Frankie. She married Frank Swisher in 1974 and was happily married for 15 years before his passing on May 27, 1989. After many years alone she married Jimmie Keithley on Aug. 27, 2011.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, brother Jackie Shelby.She is survived by her loving husband of nine years, Jimmie; children Shayla (Marvin) Moss, Tammy (Gary) nephew Frank Swisher, step-children Scott Keithley, Stephanie Tillman and Mathew Keithley, seven grandchildren; siblings Donald (Debbie) Shelby, Bob Shelby, Larry Shelby, Nannette (David) Bible, Carol Moss, Rick (Dana) Shelby, as well as, nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.Visitation was from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic. Funeral services followed at 10 a.m. with burial following at Union Ridge Cemetery.
