JEREMIAH "JAY" QUEEN

Jeremiah “Jay” Queen, 31, of Springfield passed away. He was born Oct. 18, 1991, in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Clay and Renee Queen; the middle of five children.
Queen grew up in Battlefield until the family relocated to Florida in 2008, returning to Missouri 10 years later.
Queen had one son, Jonah, whom he adored and was very proud to be his father.
Queen was a beautiful person inside and out, but he battled deep-rooted mental health issues for many years. This led him to make some poor lifestyle choices and sent him down a spiraling path that couldn’t be stopped.
Queen was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and an infant sister, Destiny Mullin.
Queen is survived by his son, Jonah Queen; parents Clay and Renee Queen; siblings Justin Ralls and wife Tanya, Zechariah Queen and Grace Queen and husband John; nieces Hope and Faith Ralls, nephews Maverick and McCormick Ralls-Queen, as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial visitation is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic. A celebration of life will follow at 3 p.m.
