JoAnn McConnell

JoAnn McConnell, 94, of Republic passed away Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022, surrounded by family. She was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Republic, the daughter of Jesse and Ethel Duvall.
She was a member of the Westside Christian Church. She enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking big Sunday dinners for her family.
McConnell is survived by three sons, Gary (Linda) McConnell, Larry McConnell and Darrell (Judy) McConnell; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister Peggy, brother Bob and his wife Sue; brother-in-law Burl and his wife Bobi; several nieces and nephews and many other close family members and friends.

McConnell was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 72 years, Harry Lee, sister Lucille; brothers Bill and Jim; daughter-in-law Fredonna; and grandson Logan.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at Lindsey Cemetery in Republic.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lindsey Cemetery, in care of the Meadors Funeral Home.
