JUNE E. GILSON

June E. Gilson, 85, of Springfield passed away Thursday, Aug. 17. She was born on Feb. 17, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, to Charles Joseph and Eleanor Dale (Adams) Claypool.
She married Raymond Gilson.
Gilson was fluent in sign language which she used as a ministry and later needed herself.
She is survived by her children, Dave E. Gilson and wife Denise, Mark T. Gilson and wife Ann, Jamie P. Gilson, Nancy R. Hasse and husband Neil; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Rheaumer; as well as other family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; brother, Charles; and sister, Kitty.
Memorial services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Victory Baptist Church in Nixa.
