Linda Marie Brown

Linda Marie Brown was born to Lee Earl and Irene Levesque in Salem, N.J. June 7, 1952. She passed away Sept. 21, 2019, with her husband of 49 years by her side.
Brown was preceded in death by her parents.
Brown is survived by her husband Mickey, daughter Michelle Lynn Har- ter, two grandchildren Aidin Kane and Lylie Rose Harter of Billings and brothers Eddie Parkell of Springfield, Steven Parkell of Ewing, N.J. and Harry Parkell Jr., of Pennsville, N.J.
Brown leaves her husband Mickey, numerous friends and a very loving extended family in southern Illinois and Indiana. She was thankful for all who loved her, and supported her during a lengthy, debilitating and often painful illness.
She was a devoted and loyal member of the First Baptist Church of Billings. She was a longtime employee of the Springfield-Greene County Library System with many years spent on the Bookmobile. She loved her job and worked until disability forced her to retire in 2004.
Memorial services were at the First Baptist Church of Billings, on Saturday, Sept. 28 beginning with visitation at 9:30 a.m. and service beginning at 11 a.m., under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home, Republic.
