Local man Brown wins season 16 of Halloween Wars

Mike Brown and Team Ghoul’d have taken home the championship on Season 16 of Halloween Wars on Food Network. This marks the second time that Willard resident and Ash Grove business owner Brown has taken home first prize in the competition.

Season 16 was an all-star season, which saw competitors from previous championship teams invited back to compete. This was the first time such a format was attempted on Halloween Wars which means Brown and his team are the first ever competitors to conquer the show twice, this time doing so despite even more difficult competition.

“What an incredible experience competing alongside some of the most talented artists I’ve ever had the privilege of working with,” said Brown in a statement online. “I couldn’t be prouder of my team and everything we accomplished!

“Who would have thought that three random people who teamed up to win Halloween Wars Season 7 would remain friends, collaborate on other projects, and eventually reunite for Season 16? And now, we’re the only team in Halloween Wars history to win the competition TWICE!

“Being part of this show has been an incredible honor. We worked so hard, pushed through some tough challenges, and gave it everything we had. I’m beyond proud of what we created together, and even more grateful for the friendships and memories that came along with it.”
