Louise Gold

Louise Gold, of Springfield, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord on November 17, 2021, at the age of 93.  She was born on November 10, 1944, in rural Stone County on September 22, 1928, to William and Helen (Howerton) Evans.
She married Jim Gold on November 10, 1944. This union was blessed with 3 sons, Jim, Harold, and Bill. She was a volunteer at both St. John’s and Cox Hospitals for many years in the surgery department.  Later she worked as a transportation aide with the Springfield School System.  Jim and Louise were married 58 years before his passing in 2002.  Louise lost her son Bill in 2017.
Louise leaves behind two sons, Jim, and wife Elaine, of Billings, Harold, and wife Vivian, of Ozark, her loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, a sister, Winnabelle Williams, of Marionville, a brother, Arnold Ray Evans, of Monett, as well as other extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Meadors Funeral Home in Billings, Missouri, on November 22, 2021. Louise will be laid to rest with her husband at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
