MARY FRANCES (BLACKWELL) STOCKSTILL

Mary Frances (Blackwell) Stockstill, 93, Springfield, passed away at home on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022.
She was born on May 9, 1929, to Frank and Minnie (Wilson) Blackwell. She graduated from Willard High School and attended Draughon’s Business College. She was employed by Thompson Sales and then Rush and Fugate Livestock Commission Companies. She married Ralph Stockstill, Jr. on March 6, 1948. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage before his death in 2004.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brookline and a member of Rachel Donelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Stockstill is preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; daughter Janet Dye; brothers Harry and Louis Blackwell.
She is survived by her daughter Marilyn Crighton and husband Jim; son-in-law Larry Dye; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; niece Jean Ann Miller; and nephew Alan Blackwell; grandnieces and nephews.

Visitation was from noon until service time, Monday, Oct. 3, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Brookline. Funeral services began at 2 p.m., at the church with burial following at Clear Creek Cemetery, Springfield.
