Nancy Lee Greene

Nancy Lee Greene passed away March 8, 2022, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, after a long battle with illness stemming from diabetes.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Bob Greene; two sons Jeffrey and Joshua; sisters Karen, Peggy, and Susan; brother Bobby, and seven grandchildren.

Born in Ottumwa, Iowa, in the 1950’s to Bob and Barbara Orman, Greene later moved to Colorado with her family.
In 1983, she was introduced by her brother to a sailor named Bob, and on Jan. 23, 1984, they got married. Not long after, they moved to Lompoc, Calif. and raised her two boys and worked as a phlebotomist until she retired. Over the next 20 years she and her husband played an integral part in growing a New Testament church and a vibrant bus ministry.
They moved to Nixa in 2013 to spend her remaining years near their younger grandchildren. Soon after, her health began to decline. Her final moments were spent surrounded by the three men she loved the most, her husband and two sons.
