Oleta Katurrah Osburn

Oleta Katurrah Osburn, 92, of Republic, passed away peacefully Dec. 10,
2020. She was born Oct. 14, 1928 in Willard, to Eldrid and Bertha (Robinson)
Arbuckle. She was one of four children.
She married Emerson Osburn on Nov. 20, 1948. This union was blessed with
two sons, Harold Dean and Rick. She was baptized in a river and was a
member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Willard, until she relocated to
Springfield.
Osburn is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 52 years,
Gene; an infant son, Harold Dean; sister Dorothy Mae Arbuckle; brothers
Stanley and Walter Arbuckle and a step granddaughter; Cassie McPherson.
Osburn is survived by her son; Rick Osburn and his wife Cindy, niece Gaylen,
as well as countless friends.
A graveside service under the direction of Meadors Funeral Home is
scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Frasier Cemetery, Boaz.
