Parade of Patriotism

A 1902 Queen City Steamer is pulled by a Willard Fire and Rescue truck, while a police officer throws candy to nearby children.

Beautiful weather Saturday morning ushered in Willard’s annual Western Greene County Veterans Day Parade, which ran down Jackson Street, starting at Willard High School. Thousands of onlookers lined the street waving flags and celebrating the veterans as they passed by in floats, cars, military vehicles and more.
