Principal Thompson presented key to city

Ash Grove alumnus and retiring principal Chris Thompson was recently presented a key to the city of Ash Grove by Mayor Caleb Smith. The presentation was part of an assembly for Thompson who is retiring following 31 years of service to the district. 

The key read “… I hereby present Chris Thompson with a key to the City - not because he needs permission to enter, but because he’s already helped shape the heart of this town.”

“It was humbling and an honor,” Thompson said.
