Queen Riley crowned at AGHS Homecoming

Ash Grove High School hosted its annual basketball homecoming Friday evening, which included coronation festivities between the junior varsity and varsity contests. This year, senior Riley Hammons was presented the queen crown, and freshman Claudia Morrison was named princess. The gym and stage were appropriately decorated in an “I’ll Be There For You” vein, a nod to the TV show Friends. The event was abnormally well attended thanks to a chili dinner hosted by the Ash Grove High School band in the high school cafeteria. See page 10 for candidate photos.
