Republic tied a school record on the road, honored its seniors at home and watched another record fall in a two-game stretch that secured the Central Ozark Conference West title and sent the Lady Tigers into districts at 22-4.

On Tuesday at Willard, Republic buried 14 three-pointers — matching the school record — in an 84-54 win. The Lady Tigers shot 14-of-26 from beyond the arc and 31-of-65 overall.

Charlie Hagewood led with 21 points, hitting four threes. Paelyn Gilmore scored 15, all from three-point range, going 5-of-9 and scoring 12 in the second half. Cora Cutbirth added 16 points and went 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. Awbree Berning finished with 14. Jordin Quessenberry's late three tied the record of 14, first set against Joplin in 2022 and matched against Neosho in 2025.

Head coach Tori Mooneyham credited her team's focus from the start.

"I thought the girls came out ready to play. They were focused. They were locked in," Mooneyham said. "We shot the ball well, but that first half, our defense was solid."

Two nights later, Republic closed the regular season with a 77-17 win over Parkview on Senior Night, honoring Berning and Addie Brown before tipoff.

"Just two tremendous kids, good student-athletes. Fun to be around," Mooneyham said. "I've really been fun to watch them grow over the four years and be a part of what we're trying to do here."

Gilmore followed her 15-point night at Willard with a record-breaking performance. She hit nine three-pointers and finished with 29 points, breaking the single-game school record of eight previously held by Hope Schatz.

Cutbirth added 18 points, including 12 in the first quarter as Republic built a 23-8 lead. The Lady Tigers led 43-13 at halftime and outscored Parkview 26-1 in the third quarter.
