Republic hosts luau at aquatic center

The Republic Parks and Recreation Department held a luau party at the Republic Aquatics Center on Saturday, July 11. An estimated 75 people attended. The event featured a hula-hoop contest, a flip flop toss, musicprovided by a live DJ, a Hawaiian-themed photo stand and luau-themeddecorations. The luau party is one of several themed events being held at the aquatic center.
