Republic volleyball lands 7 on Academic All-State Team

Seven members of the Republic volleyball team have earned academic all-state honors. They are Kaemyn Bekemeier, Lauren Chastain, Rilynn Finley, Kailey Manes, Carina Pacheco, Payge Plank and Avery Riggs.
The volleyball team's overall GPA was 3.74.
To earn academic all-state recognition, players must have a cumulative 3.6 GPA for an entire career and play in at least 75 percent of varsity games.
It's the third consecutive academic all-state season for Bekemeier, Manes and Riggs. Finley, Pacheco and Plank earned the designation for a second straight year.
