Ronald G. Hubbard

Ronald G. Hubbard, 81, of Battlefield passed away at 12:50 a.m. July 3, 2019, in Springfield.
An active member of the Elks Lodge, Hubbard enjoyed traveling, golf, the Pittsburg Pirates and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball teams. He always had a smile and
was quick to tell a good joke. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Clara Hubbard, his sister Jan Allen, and grandson
David Smith of Springfield. Hubbard is survived by his wife
Sherry; daughters, Sally Smith and her husband Sam Smith of Elkland, Cindy Hubbard of Springfield; step-son Victor Davis, and step-daughter Lalay Makoui of Battlefield; his niece, Brenda Pam- perien, her husband Greg and family of Battlefield; his six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6– 8 p.m. Monday, July 8, 2019, at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday July 9, also at the Funeral Home. Burial followed at White Chapel Memo- rial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Rescue One.
