Sandra "Sandy" Maness

Sandra "Sandy" Maness, of Republic, passed away on
Sept.15, 2026. She was 82 years old. She was born on Jan. 20, 1944, in
Tunas, Carl and Minnie (McGee) Fowler, and was one of four children in the
home.
She graduated from Skyline High School. On July 9, 1965, she married Harold Don Maness, and they were blessed with three sons. 
She was a member of Hood United Methodist Church for over 50 years,
a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and The Daughters of the American
Revolution. 
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold Don who she lost in 2020, her son Keith Andrew Maness, and her brother Larry Fowler.
 
She is survived by her children, Scott Maness, Paul Maness and wife Lacey, and grandchildren, Chaston, Trey, Rourke and Adalaine , sisters Linda Crawford and Brenda Adams.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to Rescue One (1927 East Bennett, Unit B, Springfield. A small graveside service was held on Monday, Sept. 21.
Her family has entrusted Meadors Funeral Home in Republic with her care.
