Sharon K. (Lowry) Looney

Sharon K. (Lowry) Looney, 79, passed away Dec. 13, 2021 at Springfield Villa; Springfield. She was born Oct. 25, 1942 to Merritt and Pauline (Russell) Lowry.

On Aug. 8, 1996 she married Floyd E. Looney.

Looney is survived by two sisters, Mary Lou Lewis of Overland Park, Kan. and Shirley Harp of Springfield; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Floyd E. Looney; sisters Mildred Slatten, and Lois Townsend, and brothers Bill Lowry and Bob Lowry.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 in Wheeler Cemetery, Walnut Grove. Services are under the direction of Birch Funeral Home.
