Soccer coach Hauck reaches 300-win milestone

It’s been a frustrating season for the Republic soccer team (7-13), but they got a chance to celebrate at Webb City, Friday. The Lady Tigers topped Webb City (11-7) 2-0, getting goals by Molly Blades and Josalyn Weymuth. The win was the 300th of Kevin Hauck’s coaching career (boys and girls combined). Hauck topped the milestone with just a few games left in his coaching career, because he will leave the sideline to become an assistant principal at Republic next fall. Hauck started the soccer program at Carl Junction before coming to Republic.
“I’ve loved every, every game and every practice that I’ve been at. It’s awesome to get to this milestone. I feel really proud of the teams that I’ve coached in the past to be able to get here,” he said.
