Stanley W. Rhoads

Stanley W. Rhoads, 76, of Lebanon, passed away, Sept. 18, 2019. He was born on Nov. 14, 1942, in Lebanon, to Earl and Minnie (Smith) Rhoads. On April 19, 1973, Stanley and Janet E.
Humphreys were united in marriage. They shared over 24 years together, before Janet’s passing in 1997.
Rhoads was a graduate of Leba- non High School and worked over 30 years at Mid-America Dairymen. He was a horseman and a regular cowboy. Above all, he loved his grandchildren and being able to watch them grow.
Rhoads is survived by his children, Brad Rhoads and wife Desa of Lebanon, Lesley Rogers and James of Springfield; six grandchildren, siblings Darlene Payne and husband Robert of Kansas City, James Rhoads and wife Sherry of Virginia; Pam Anderson and hus- band Don, David Rhoads and wife Pat, Janice Uder and husband Kenny all of Lebanon; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.
Rhoads was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Minnie Rhoads; wife, Janet Rhoads; brothers, Gary Don Rhoads, Jerry Rhoads, Howard Rhoads, Richard Rhoads and Eugene Rhoads.
Visitation was from 10:30 a.m. until service time, Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at First Christian Church, Lebanon, with a time of fellowship immediately following the funeral service. Funeral services began at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at the church. A private family burial will be held at a later date in McBride Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lebanon Area Foundation or the Backpack Program. Arrangements under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
