Two killed in crash north of Republic

Two young men were killed and a third injured in a car crash, the evening of Monday, Jan. 18, on Highway TT two miles north of Republic.
According to a Missouri Highway Patrol report, Logan Flanagan, 20, and Kalen Hankins, 21, died when the 2008 Pontiac G6 in which they were traveling westbound, left the road and struck several trees. A third occupant, James Flanagan, 22, suffered a serious injury in the incident.
All three men, Republic residents, were not wearing seat belts and were thrown from the car.
