V. Maddie Hughes

V. Maddie Hughes, 86, of Marshfield, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2022.  She was born March 3, 1936, in Willow Springs, to Jake and Elsie (Wake) Jones. On April 15, 1955, Maddie and John Hughes were united in marriage.  They shared over 65 years together before his passing in 2019.
Hughes loved to fish and garden.
Hughes is survived by her children, Dennis Hughes, Debbie East and husband Dale, Donna Griffith and husband Mark; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Christine Clinton; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2022 at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to C.A.R.E. on Sunshine. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
