Violet Elaine Matthews

Violet Elaine Matthews, 78, of Miller passed away Sept. 27, 2021 at Lawrence county Manor.
She was married to Mack on Feb. 23, 1963 and to this union four children were born.
Matthews is survived by daughter Tammy Gammill of Miller; son Charles Matthews of Springfield, brother Rocky Bryant of Omaha, Neb., sister Judy Matthews of Springfield, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Matthews was preceded in death by her husband Mack Matthews, her parents Charles and Nellie (Walker) Bryant, daughter Deborah, son Mack, Jr., and two brothers Charles Bryant and Raymond Bryant.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Bellview Cemetery Springfield.
Visitation was Friday from 7-8 pm at Birch Funeral Home. Services were under the direction of Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove.
