Pirate football season comes to an end with loss to Skyline

    The 2018 fall sports season have come to an end for the Ash Grove volleyball and football teams after losses in their respective district tournaments.
In football, Ash Grove traveled to Skyline, but saw their season come to an end after a 62-12 loss on Oct. 26.
    "The Pirates finished up their season Friday night with a loss to the Skyline Tigers,” said head coach Ryan Long. “The Pirates finished with a 2-8 record. As a coach I felt while our record was not a success our play on the field was. As a team we had a lot of fun this year and the underclassmen along with myself are excited to get started for next year."
