Mary Belle Armantrout

Mary Belle Armantrout, 95, of Everton, passed away March 17, 2019 in the Ash Grove Health Care Center. She was born Jan. 23, 1924, to Ellis and Lexie (Evans) Garrett.
She was a restaurant owner, cook and waitress for more than 40 years in the Springfield and Ash Grove communities. She was of the Baptist faith.
Armantrout is survived by: son, Edgar Keck of Kansas City; daughters, Lisa Ramsey and Linda Bauer both of Everton; sisters, Willie (Elgie) Long of Independence and Lucille Giltner of Hemphill, Texas; 15 grandchil- dren; numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edgar Keck and Asa Armantrout; sons, Thomas Rus- sell and James Keck; brothers, Bernard Ghormley, Sherman Garrett and Coleman Garrett; sisters, Lottie May Hayes and Pauline Keck West.
Memorial services will be held March 23, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. in Birch Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Willard under the direction of Birch Funeral Home of Ash Grove.
