Ross F. Coble Jr.

On April 9, 2019 Ross F. Coble Jr. loving husband father, grandfather, great-grandfather and pastor passed away at age 79 in Ash Grove, Mo. Ross was born May 17, 1939
to Ross Sr. and Hazel Coble and was a child of 10 total siblings, Don Coble of Springfield, Lewis and Judy Coble of Walnut Grove, Gary and Jane Coble of Phoenix, AZ, Larry and Betty Coble of Crane, Eddie and Cindy Coble of Strafford and Mary Ann Mullins of Willard. Three siblings deceased Robert Coble, Christopher and Ella Mae.
Ross was married to Darlene Long August 31, 1956 and enjoyed 62 years together. With this union came four children, Kimmie, Michael, Delano (Lanky) and Dianna (Nanna) or (Nanji) as he would say and spouses Donnie, Susan, Suzanne and Robbie. He has 25 grandchildren plus nine spouses, 17 great-grandchildren and he loved every one of them.
Ross was a hard working man who had several jobs, bus driver for Everton School District, Holsum Bakery, a Millright in Morton, WA for two years. The Job he loved was being a logger and he raised his sons, numerous nephews and one brother-in-law in business. He loved being outside and would work from daylight to dark. During his life he came to know Jesus and be- came an evangelist for a few years and did a lot of traveling with his family. Then he pastored four churches the last being Church of Promise in Ash Grove for 16 years. He loved people and was a witness no matter where he went.
Ross is preceded in death by his mother and father; two brothers; one sister; one grandson, Ezekiel; and many brother-in-laws; sister-in-laws; nephews and nieces. Ross was known for loving people and was a very blessed man. He will be missed and has truly left his family legacy that cannot be compared.
Services were held Friday April 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Apostolic Church, Springfield with Rev. Travis Hollingsworth officiating. Burial followed at White Chapel Cemetery, Springfield under the direction of Birch funeral Home of Ash Grove.
