Ash Grove Christmas parade results

Despite wind chills in the 20s, this year’s Ash Grove Christmas Parade held Saturday morning was the largest in recent memory, snaking through town at more than a mile long. At final count, there were 29 entries including musicians, classic cars, emergency vehicles and Santa himself high atop an Ash Grove Fire Department fire truck. First-place float winners received $100, while $50 went to second place finishers.
“We had a tremendous turnout for a chilly winter day, said Historic Town Committee member Stuart Coutchie. “Our longest and biggest parade yet, and the kids got to see Santa and get lots of candy. It made all of HTC proud to put on this event for the fourth consecutive year.”
