Ronald “Keith” Bench

Ronald “Keith” Bench, 71, passed away Tuesday Nov. 10, 2020, at Cox South
Hospital, in Springfield. Bench was born in Springfield to John William Bench
and Lois Ethel (Morton) Bench on May 22, 1949.
Bench attended Glendale High School and graduated in 1967. He went on to
be a salesman for multiple companies throughout his years. He worked in
industrial sales for National Fasteners Corporation for many years. He was an
active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. There he served as an usher for
Divine Services for most of his life, and on the Board of Elders for nine years.
Bench's pride and joy was his daughter Taylor McShayne. She was born in
1994 and he thought the world of her.
He loved sports. He spent many years playing, coaching and being an
umpire.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Lois Bench.
Bench is survived by his daughter Taylor Bench (special friend Michael
Carroll) of Ozark; siblings John D. Bench and wife Sharon of Springfield; Karen
Bench Rankin and husband Michael of Springfield; Kelly Bench and wife
Karen of Willard; and many nieces and nephews.
Bench passed away with his daughter Taylor, brother John and sister Karen
by his side.
Visitation was Thursday Nov. 19, 2020, from 10-11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran
Church. Funeral services were Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Springfield. Face coverings and social distancing was
required. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, Springfield.
