Ash Grove election set for April

With deadlines passing, a slate of candidates for the upcoming April 6 election in Ash Grove is now set.
For the Ash Grove Board of Aldermen, there are two, two-year seats opening. The aldermanic position in Ward 1 currently held by Bill Wagner, will likely go unchanged as Wagner was the only candidate filing for the role.
The Ward 2 opening currently held by Pat Hurley is contested this go round. Filing for candidacy for that spot are Hurley, Chala Baker and Diana Simpson.
Ash Grove Board of Education
Election for two positions available on the Ash Grove Board of Education will be forgone this year as two candidates have filed for two seats. Re-upping for their current positions are President Bill Duncan and Vice President Jeremy Willmon.
