And the walls came tumbling down

The north end of the former Meek’s building on U.S. Highway 60 in Republic has given way after heavy machinery began the demolition process last week. The building—and all other nearby buildings on the property—are set to be removed to make way for an incoming Andy’s Frozen Custard.
