Shirley L. Nicholson

Shirley L. Nicholson, 78, of Ash Grove passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021.
She was born Aug. 13, 1942, in Mountain Home, Ark. to Charles and Lois (Plemmons) Manuel. On Oct. 1, 1961, Shirley and Robert Nicholson were united in marriage and shared over 59 years together.
Nicholson was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and wife. She is survived by her husband, Robert Nicholson; son, Robert Nicholson II and wife Terri; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Ted Manuel; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.
Nicholson is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lois Manuel; siblings, Charles “Butch” Manuel, Benny Joe Manuel, Vernia Dean Burnell, Linda Pendergraph, Julie Manuel, Jackie Manuel and Tony Manuel.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Johns Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove.
