Teresa Ann Byers

Teresa Ann Byers (Huey), 62, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022. Byers was born in Springfield, Sept. 12, 1959, to parents Joe Huey and Helen Cole. Teresa was very dedicated to everything she did and worked in the dry-cleaning business for over 20 years.
Byers married the love of her life, John Byers, on March 4, 1988, together they raised two sons. They enjoyed over 30 years together until his passing in 2018.

Byers is survived by two sons, Andrew (Candie) Henderson and their six children; James (Melissa) Henderson and their three children; sisters Kathy (Kelly) Harville, and Christina Huey; nephew Jason (Patti) Harville; niece Ashley Webb; stepfather Harold Cole; fur-baby Teddy and a host of family and friends.

Byers was preceded in death by her husband, mother and father, grandson Mack Henderson, and great-nephew Alex Gurley.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, and services will follow.
