Carol J. House

Carol J. House, 72, passed away July 14, 2022 at Cox South in Springfield, following a lengthy illness. 

She was born Oct. 24, 1949 to Clyde and Alice Hoyt in Syracuse, N.Y.

House married Virgil "Bud" House Dec. 29, 1982. He survives of the home.

She retired from Food 4 Less in Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ron Hoyt, and son Michael Hoyt.

Survivors include husband Virgil "Bud" House; children Darrell House, Ash Grove, Brandon House, Ash Grove, Tammy (House) Poirier (Mike), Savannah, Robert House, St. Joseph, Mark Wines, Tennessee, Brian Wines, Tennessee, David Wines, New York;
six grandchildren; 11 extended grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters Sharon Stechyn, Joann Borland and Debbie Hoyt.

A private family celebration of life will take place. Cremation was under the direction of Birch Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to Birch Funeral Home, Ash Grove, in memory of Carol House to help offset costs.
