GLADYS "JOAN" WOLFINBARGER

Gladys “Joan” Wolfinbarger, 87, of Republic passed away on Sept. 16, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1935, to Gayford “George” and Freda Leona (Vanhooser) Parks in Marshfield.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Republic. She was quite active in her career, only retiring just a few years ago, after owning her own house cleaning business. Prior to this, she managed filling stations, as they were called many years ago.
Wolfinbarger is survived by her daughter: Mary “Lynn” Jones; step son Perry (Kim) Wolfinbarger; brother Bud Parks; grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and beloved friends and extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wolfinbarger; mother and step father: MC and Freda McKinney; father George Parks; brother George “Junior” Parks; and sisters Georgia “Pat” Church and Retha “Fay” Gray.
Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022 at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Springfield. Her funeral service followed. She was laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Jack Wolfinbarger, at Lindsey Chapel Cemetery in Republic, following funeral services.
