ROLLO E. PELTZ

Rollo E. Peltz, 96, of Ash Grove passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022.

Peltz, the son of Onas and Elith (Smith) Peltz, was born in Phenix, on April 30, 1926. He and LaDonna Dunn were united in marriage on Sept. 20, 1946. They shared over 72 years together before LaDonna’s passing in 2019.

Peltz was a lifelong area resident. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing lawn mowers.
Peltz is survived by his daughter, Shirley Stokes and husband Rick, of Ash Grove; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister Betty Mallory and husband Keith; nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.

Peltz was preceded in death by his parents; wife LaDonna; and brother Francis Peltz.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, until service time at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., at the funeral home with burial to follow at Ash Grove Cemetery, Ash Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ash Grove Nursing Home Auxiliary and may be left at the funeral home.
