EDNA LEE KASINGER DAVIS

Edna Lee Kasinger Davis, 87, of Willard, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023.
Davis was born Nov. 18, 1935 to Paul and Mattie Wright in Reeds. In 1956, Davis
met Bill Kasinger and they went on to have two children, Tammy and Melissa. After Bill’s death
in 1998, Davis married Lester Davis of Aurora, in 2000 until his death in 2007.
Davis was a member of Elm Branch Christian Church in Aurora, and most recently attended
the First Baptist Church in Willard, where she enjoyed her Sunday school class and
attending WMU. She also enjoyed attending TOP’s classes and spending time with her beloved
and trusted, furry companion of the last several years, PeeWee.
Davis was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mattie, sisters Betty and Billy Jo, and
her husband of 41 years, Bill.
Davis is survived by her two daughters and their husbands, Tammy and Mike Conner of Willard, and Melissa and Mike McCormack of Aurora, as well as seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Marionville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
