JULIE "CHRIS" CUNNINGHAM

Julie “Chris” Cunningham, 62, of Republic passed away on May 1, 2023 in Republic. She was born in Springfield to Donald Baker Cunningham and Patricia Ann Gilden on March 19, 1961.
She spent her childhood in Bolivar, before moving to Republic, where she would attend and graduate from Republic High School.
Cunningham was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Luther and Myrtle Cunningham of Bolivar; maternal grandparents June Freeman of Bolivar, and Ed Gilden of Springfield; aunt, Jeannie Gilden of Bolivar; and her uncle, William “Dub” Cunningham.
She is survived by daughter, Rochelle Still and her husband Damien of Republic; parents Don and Pat Cunningham of Republic; sisters, Jayme Bass and June “Cathy” Medearis of Republic; two grandchildren, nieces Alysha Mooneyham of Brookline, and Shelby Ruehter of Billings; great-nieces Presley Ruehter and Junie Jo Ruehter; and great-nephew Cooper Hill.
Family will have a graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, there has been a donation account set up for her grandchildren under Tiffany Still at Simmons Bank
Her care has been entrusted to Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. DeGraffenreid-Wood Crematory.
