Ash Grove senior Dylan Gray has been named the Southwest Conference Male Track Athlete of the Year. Gray has taken home a slew of medals this year for exploits in the 110m hurdles, 400m, 4X200m relay and the 4X400m relay.

The Republic soccer team found its offensive rhythm last week, scoring 11 goals in two victories. The Lady Tigers shut out Waynesville on Tuesday before overwhelming Lebanon in a mercy-rule win on Thursday.

Republic baseball drops non-division games to Ozark, Nixa
Republic’s baseball team suffered back-to-back losses last week against Central Ozark Conference cross-division opponents, falling to Ozark 8–4 at home and getting shut out by Nixa 10–0 on the road.

The Republic girls soccer team bounced back from an 0–3 start to win the Lady Pirate Classic in Branson with three straight victories. After losing to Glendale during the week, Republic defeated Monett, Lighthouse Christian and Bolivar during the weekend tournament.

Republic’s girls basketball season came to a close Saturday in a 57–21 semifinal loss to Kickapoo in the Class 6 District 5 tournament at Ozark. The defeat followed a convincing 69–45 victory over Ozark in the quarterfinals just two days earlier.

The Republic boys basketball team’s season came to an end Friday night as Kickapoo pulled away for a 46–32 victory in the Class 6 District 5 semifinals. The defeat capped a 23–5 season that featured championship trophies from both the Republic Invitational and Blue & Gold Tournament.
