In a surprise move, Ash Grove Board of Education member Cody Stacey stepped down from his position prior to the board’s Nov. 19 meeting. Stacey was first elected to the board in April 2024, with his three-year term expiring in April 2027.
A Republic man has been charged with burglary following an incident at the end of September.
The alleged perpetrator, Jeromey K. Dennis, is a frequent offender in the Republic area. This time, he found himself arrested after forcing entry into his ex-girlfriend’s home.
