Three fatal motor vehicle collisions have taken place over the course of a week in Greene County. Of the three of these crashes, two of them fatally injured motorcyclists.

The Republic Board of Education swore in one new member at their meeting on April 16. Rob Buchanon took up the position after running uncontested in the April 7 election. The board also made time to honor a student’s archery accomplishments.

The Ash Grove Board of Aldermen race for Ward 2 ended in a tie after votes came in April 7. Troy Watts and incumbent Ronessa Williams both received 17 votes.
The Ward 2 position was one of two contested municipal races in Ash Grove.
