Velma Maye Sublett, 87, of Republic, passed away May 29, 2021, with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 5, 1934, in Humbolt, Neb. to James and Nora (Sullwold) Gardner.

Lenora H. Stocker passed away Monday, May 31. She was born Lenora Hudson on Feb. 25, 1928, in Mt. Vernon. She grew up in Mt. Vernon, and after marrying Robert Stocker she moved to St. Louis, and then Farmington for several years.

Dorene Larey (Cook) Stewart passed away June 2, 2021. She was born May 11, 1929, in Nixon, Texas, to Elbert and Ruthie (Lutz) Cook. She moved with her parents to Paradise Valley, Ariz., where she attended school. In 1943, the family moved to Sparta.

Reverend Dr. Steven Charles Spalding, 78, of Nixa, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021. He was born May 6, 1943 in Harbor Springs, Mich., to John E. and Sarah E. Spaulding (McGinnis). He was one of 11 children.
