Jacqueline “Jackie” Gilkey, 76, of Walnut Grove passed away Monday, Dec. 8, 2025. She was born on Feb. 25, 1949, to Calvin “Bud” and DeLoris (Saxton) Martin. On June 24, 1996, Jackie and David Gilkey were united in marriage and shared over 29 years together.
Virginia Ruth Stender was born March 15, 1926, in Kansas City, to Leonard Paul Bell and Ida Belle Bell (neé Riley). She was the last of the six children born to them. In 1942 they moved to San Bernardino, Calif.
Ralph Edward Haile, 78, of Everton passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025. He was born Oct. 27, 1947, in Springfield, to Leland and Beulah (House) Haile. On June 24, 1973, Ralph and Denise Clark were united in marriage and shared over 52 years together.
Cecil Eugene (Gene) “Hoppy” Weaver, 90, of Walnut Grove, the son of Porter and Elizabeth (Willard) Weaver was born June 14, 1935, in Galloway.
He married Mary (Gregory) Kellner on Aug. 3, 1956.
Catherine Medley, 73, of Ash Grove passed away on Nov. 30, 2025. She was born on July 28, 1952, in Reynolds County, to James Farmer, Jr. and Thelma (Allen)Farmer.
Anthony Blake Kile, son of James and Cheryl Kile, was born on Jan. 4, 1975 in Springfield. He grew up, along with his sister, Cheli, in Republic. He graduated from Republic High School in 1993. He was saved and baptized at Battlefield Baptist Church in 1986.
Edward Arnold Zahner, 76, of Cape Girardeau, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025. Born on Feb. 15, 1948, he was the son of Alonzo and Lillian Zahner.
