The Ash Grove Area Community Foundation is asking all community members to take a short community assessment survey at https://tinyurl.com/AshGroveSurvey. Surveys may help the group secure more grant money as part of the GRO initiative.
A Bois D’Arc man avoided prison time when he pleaded guilty to cattle theft in the Greene County Circuit Court in exchange for probation. According to court documents, Joseph Tummons entered the plea on Tuesday, March 3; in exchange, he will receive five years of supervised probation.
Tanner and Jenna Rust, with Clear Creek Family Dental in Ash Grove generously donated $1,000 to the Ash Grove Area Community Foundation. The group must raise $30,000 to fully establish itself as an affiliate with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.

A mobile home located behind Pennington’s Supermarket in Ash Grove was destroyed by a fire in the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 28. Nobody was hurt in the blaze, but the structure itself was a total loss.
Adrienne Poulson, of Republic, has been named branch manager of the Ash Grove and Willard branches of the Springfield-Greene County Library District. She formerly was a Youth Services librarian at the Library Center, and previously worked at the Republic Branch Library.
